Job summary

Constellis is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to inspect, service, repair, and maintain county fleet vehicles across Los Angeles County facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, replace brakes, engines, hydraulics, and ensure safety compliance. The role requires climbing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and willingness to work in varied weather and shifts.

Qualifications

• 5 years off road automotive and diesel repair experience.
• Must complete county Live Scan.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License (Preferred A or B).
• Must obtain one ASE certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must have own toolbox and troubleshooting equipment.
• Proficiency with computer software (M5).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical and mechanical systems.
• Repair brakes, exhaust, engines and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas.
• Submit daily work progress reports and logs.
• Report to multiple regional locations as required.
