Farouk Systems is seeking a talented Senior Mobile Software Development Engineer to join our full stack development team and contribute to transforming our iOS and Android applications for the LG CHI Color Master Factory. This role requires expertise in native mobile development, API integration, and cloud technologies to deliver next-generation solutions for the professional beauty industry, working collaboratively with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) applications for the CHI Color Master Factory
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability across various mobile devices and operating system versions
• Implement mobile UI/UX best practices and responsive design principles
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile application backends in collaboration with backend teams
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and third-party APIs
• Handle data serialization and network communication (JSON, XML)
• Implement secure authentication and authorization systems
• Work as part of a full stack development team with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers
• Participate in agile processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews
• Build production-quality systems with comprehensive testing strategies including unit and integration testing
• Debug and resolve production issues with performance optimization in coordination with team members
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the development team
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, AI advancements, and security best practices
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development for both iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Proven track record shipping production mobile applications to app stores as part of development teams
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and backend service integration
• Experience in cross-functional, agile development environments
• Proficiency with mobile testing frameworks and automated testing practices
• Expert-level proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Experience with local data storage solutions and cloud database integrations
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities with demonstrated teamwork experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• AWS Cloud Services experience including mobile services (Amplify, Cognito), backend services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• AI/ML Integration experience with mobile AI/ML frameworks (Core ML, ML Kit)
• AR/ML Solutions experience developing AR applications with ML integration for mobile platforms
• Computer Vision knowledge including image processing libraries (OpenCV)
• IoT Integration experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB device communication
• Performance Optimization experience with mobile app monitoring and optimization
• Knowledge of color theory or experience in the beauty industry
• Experience with machine control or IoT device integration
