About the Company - Attractivate is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team. This pivotal role involves the development and optimization of our highly scalable banking integration platform. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in core integration and API development and will be responsible for leading the software development lifecycle, mentoring other engineers, and ensuring development processes are well-defined and followed. The Lead Software Engineer will report directly to the VP of Products and Platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software using Java, XML, XSLT, and JSON APIs.
• Serve as the lead developer, providing technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team.
• Mentor and lead other engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Partner with contracted engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Collaborate with product leaders on platform optimization and enhancements.
• Build and maintain core banking software integrations.
• Lead the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Ensure development processes are well-defined and adhered to, promoting best practices.
• Assess and guide the team on implementing business logic to meet client and standard banking needs.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a lead software engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, and JSON APIs.
• Extensive experience with core integration and API development.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including contracted engineering teams and product leaders.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.

Pay range and compensation package: $150,000 - $175,000

This is a remote position.
