Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (Mobile Device Security SME) to support a government contract in Washington, DC, on-site. An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

The position focuses on developing enterprise mobile security strategies, evaluating MDM/EMM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron), and ensuring compliance with NIST RMF and Zero Trust architectures.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 8+ years of mobile security or enterprise security architecture experience.
• Deep understanding of iOS/Android, MDM/EMM, and mobile network protocols.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-124, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, EO 14028, FISMA.
• Experience with mobile endpoint security, secure communications, and remote device management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements enterprise-level mobile security strategies and policies per federal standards.
• Advises on secure mobile device usage, app vetting, and mobile threat defense.
• Designs secure architectures for mobile deployments including containerization and encryption.
• Evaluates MDM/EMM solutions (Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron).
• Analyzes mobile security vulnerabilities and threats; leads remediation efforts.
