Allegion plc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Lead Security Mobile Engineer to advance security for Allegion’s connected products and services.
You will partner with product and mobile software teams to weave security and privacy into the software development lifecycle, lead security strategy, and mentor engineers worldwide. This role combines hands-on security with cross-functional leadership.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of mobile software development experience.
- 2–5+ years as security practitioner leading security strategy across multiple products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence across the enterprise.
- Strong learning agility across Allegion's global software portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Serve as security point of contact for mobile software teams across the enterprise, covering data privacy, devices, cloud, API, and application security.
- Partner with engineering to embed security into the SDLC through architecture reviews and secure coding practices.
- Coach and mentor engineers on security tools, risk management, and balancing security with business needs.
- Contribute to design, deployment, and lifecycle management of Allegion's security programs for mobile apps and connected products.
- Promote standard security architecture conventions to ensure availability, performance, and security.
