Riot Games in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Riot Mobile team. You will build and scale a mobile platform that serves millions of players across Riot’s ecosystem, collaborating across iOS and Android to deliver features spanning personalization, social systems, and cross-game experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including mobile app shipping.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable experience.
• Experience working with complex code bases.
• Experience collaborating with UX/visual designers.
• Strengths in collaboration, communication, and technical strategy.
• Desirable: React front-end, Kotlin Multiplatform, telemetry/analytics (Firebase, DataDog), Java Spring Boot, build/deploy automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile features across iOS and Android for millions of players.
• Own multi-month projects from discovery through delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams.
• Make and influence technical decisions at the team level.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with test coverage and code reviews.
• Improve reliability and performance of Riot Mobile; contribute to monitoring and incident response.
• Evolve team processes, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
