Walmart is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Sunnyvale to lead scalable software delivery, design and maintain high-quality code across mobile and backend systems, and integrate AI/ML components to boost platform capabilities.

You will collaborate across Product, UX, and platform teams, drive full lifecycle development, and champion automation and observability in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area.
• 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area OR 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality Mobile experiences for Walmart Business customers.
• Deliver scalable features across shopping, account management, orders, payments, tax-exempt, and store workflows.
• Contribute across mobile, backend services, Order Lifecycle systems, and web frontend experiences.
• Use AI-powered developer tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through automation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Partner with Product, UX, platform, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, observability, experimentation, and production support.
• Bring ownership, agility, and continuous learning to a fast-moving engineering team.
