Job summary

Stateside Digitals is seeking an experienced product designer to lead end-to-end mobile app design for diverse client engagements. You will take projects from early wireframes to high-fidelity UI, building a reusable component system in Figma and collaborating closely with engineering.

In this role, you will conduct UX discovery, defend design decisions to clients, and ensure consistency as a client's app scales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product design experience, with mobile app work in your portfolio.
• Strong command of Figma, including auto layout and component variants.
• Ability to design within platform conventions (Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design) without defaulting to generic templates.
• Experience presenting and defending design decisions directly to clients.
• A portfolio showing full case studies, not just final screens.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX discovery and wireframing for new client engagements.
• Design high-fidelity UI in Figma with a documented, reusable component system.
• Partner with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible.
• Run lightweight usability testing to validate flows before development.
• Maintain design consistency across a client's app as it grows.
