Job summary

Life.Church is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, build, and maintain mobile solutions across campus and ministry platforms. You will own technical design, review code for quality, and partner with engineers to align on development plans.

You’ll mentor junior engineers and help drive architectural direction for scalable, reliable apps. You’ll also explore AI-assisted approaches to enhance mobile experiences and contribute to the team’s best practices and tooling.

• Strong software engineering experience delivering reliable, scalable mobile solutions.
• Comfort owning technical decisions and tradeoffs; guide others without formal authority.
• Clear communication of complex concepts and architectural tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain mobile applications across platforms.
• Own technical design decisions and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Review, test, and ensure code quality and consistency.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and align team technical direction.
• Collaborate with other engineers to plan and execute development.
• Explore AI/ML opportunities to improve mobile experiences.
