Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a mobile engineer to design, build, and ship features for iOS and Android while coordinating backend changes. You will own releases end-to-end, extend automation, and implement tests and gates for high-quality delivery.

You will influence architecture, collaborate with product and design, and leverage AI coding agents to improve efficiency and safety. Three days per week in-office in Seattle, with production code shipping and strong API/analytics requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Kotlin Multiplatform experience in production applications


• Experience shipping shared KMP code or deciding where a shared boundary belongs


• Production code shipped outside the primary platform within the last two years, on iOS, backend, or web


• Experience carrying a significant architecture or platform change from proposal to adoption


• Ability to work with APIs, entitlements, and analytics


• Automation-first quality practices and deliberate device testing


• Active use of AI coding agents; ability to distinguish appropriate agent usage and assess output


• Clear written and verbal communication


• Pragmatic judgment and ability to explain speed-versus-quality tradeoffs


• Three days per week in-office in Seattle


• Legally eligible to work in the United States
