Job summary

First Citizens is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) to build cross-platform hybrid apps for iOS using Apache Cordova. You will leverage Swift/Objective-C, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React to deliver performant apps across devices.

You will deploy to the Apple App Store, collaborate with UI/UX designers and QA, document architectures, and stay current with mobile development trends while following CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Software application development and maintenance
• Experience with authentication, multi-factor authentication is a plus
• Experience with Ionic Framework.
• A good understanding of micro-front-end architecture
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Firebase.
• Experience with React Native or Flutter is a plus.

• Experience integratingCordova pluginsfor native features such as Camera, GPS, File System, and Notifications.
• Experience withmobile debugging tools, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility
• Strong knowledge ofApp Store deployment processes
• Understanding ofApple Push Notification Services
• Experience withGit version control, Agile methodologies (JIRA etc.), and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
