Job summary

VizyPay is seeking a Sr Infrastructure & Security Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, enterprise networks, security posture, and end-user support. You will report to the CIO and integrate cloud engineering, networking, and IT operations into a single, senior IC mandate.

The role supports PCI DSS assessments, BCP/DR programs, and ensures availability and audit-ready controls in production within a security-driven payments environment. In-office in Waukee, IA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of professional infrastructure/cloud/network/security/SRE experience.
• Experience operating production infrastructure at scale with emphasis on availability, cost, risk, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and DigitalOcean.
• Expand infrastructure-as-code and GitOps as default provisioning paths; build CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Manage infrastructure cost, capacity, and performance; align with approved budgets.
• Provide technical leadership across InfraSec and collaborate with Software Engineering; mentor as a hands-on contributor.
