Job summary

Digital Turbine in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, build, and harden Android SDKs and on-device services powering app delivery, discovery, and monetization at carrier and OEM scale.

You will own the full lifecycle from design to release, monitoring, and on-call, mentor peers, and help reduce install failures while expanding to iOS and cross-platform work as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production mobile software, with deep expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) and working knowledge of iOS (Swift/Obj-C).
• Experience shipping SDKs or framework-level code consumed by other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android SDKs and on-device services.
• Drive down install and delivery failures and improve package-manager reliability.
• Partner with OEM and carrier teams to ship features within platform constraints.
• Own full lifecycle: instrumentation, alerting, rollout strategy, and on-call.
