Transwest Mobile seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician to perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. You will diagnose complex issues, use advanced tools, and mentor junior techs while delivering top-tier mobile service.

With 5+ years of hands-on experience and a valid driver’s license, you will handle both scheduled and unscheduled repairs, document work thoroughly, and stay current with industry advancements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, or electrical systems.
• Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job.
• Capability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role).
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor/outdoor environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm machinery.
• Diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals.
• Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers, providing detailed service recommendations and updates.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery.
• Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes.
