Ryder is seeking a Master Level Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician in Tampa, FL. The role involves diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair of heavy/medium-duty equipment, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or Technical Certification in related field preferred.
• Four+ years experience in advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy/medium duty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to coordinate preventive maintenance and repair estimates.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of repairs and ensure quality of work.
• Perform PMs and repairs across multiple truck systems (A/C, brakes, electrical) as trained.
• Mentor junior technicians and support location fleet maintenance requirements.
