Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Mobile Device Engineer to support the CIS program, delivering secure enterprise MDM solutions across the DoW/IC and global workforce. You will design, implement, and validate mobile security controls, ensuring systems remain compliant and accredited within the Enterprise IT Infrastructure (EII).

Onsite in USA Colorado Springs, CO, this 40-hour weekly role requires TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and a strong background in RMF,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
• DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Experience engineering or administering MDM solutions in enterprise/DoW/IC environments.
• Strong mobile security, authentication, compliance controls, and secure device configuration.
• Experience supporting IATT/ATO activities and RMF framework.
• US citizenship is required.
• Onsite location in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design, and implement secure enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for mobile devices.
• Ensure mobile platforms meet cybersecurity, configuration, and compliance requirements across the DoW/IC.
• Integrate mobile solutions with enterprise authentication, identity, security, monitoring, and network services.
• Test, validate, and document mobile device configurations, updates, and system changes prior to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced mobile device issues across networks and platforms.
• Support modernization by evaluating and engineering emerging mobile technologies and capabilities.
• Maintain security and compliance through patch deployment, vulnerability monitoring, and posture checks.
• Stay current with evolving mobile platforms and enterprise mobility best practices.
