Job Description

Salary Range: $124,134.40 - $155,168 annually.

Position: Senior Mobile Developer (various worksites across the U.S., HQ: Chicago, IL).

Responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, and testing mobile applications in an agile environment, performing software integration and optimization, creating technical documentation, diagnosing issues, leading performance analysis, architecting multi-threaded and distributed systems, releasing applications to the Play Store, and mentoring developers.

Technical Environment: Android development (Kotlin, Java, Android SDK), MVVM, TDD, RESTful APIs, back-end integration, CI/CD pipelines, third-party SDKs.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in mobile development/full stack development.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, or Android Studio.
• Experience with Android app deployment, RESTful APIs, MVVM, multi-tier systems, performance optimization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Remote work possible within states where Northwestern Medicine is registered; must attend onsite training/meetings as needed.
