Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of mobile network technology across 2G–5G and roaming.
• Proficient in Python or Go for building tools.
• Experience automating operational workflows: monitoring, alerting, remediation.
• Familiarity with SS7/MAP and Diameter signaling, IMS, VAS, core network elements, ITU-T/3GPP, GSMA.

Responsibilities

• Operations — Run day-to-day operations for the mobile network including monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting across signaling, voice, SMS, data, and roaming.
• Automation — Build tools and scripts that automate manual operational work: alerting, remediation, capacity and service checks, and routine network tasks.
• Tool Development — Design and build internal tooling and dashboards for network monitoring, performance analysis, and QoS/KPI tracking.
• Systems Integration — Integrate network elements, monitoring systems, and ticketing/alerting platforms through APIs and custom automation.
• Roaming Operations — Support international roaming operations, including IREG/TADIG testing, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Process Improvement — Identify manual, repetitive operational work and replace it with automated, self-service, or self-healing solutions.
• Collaboration — Work with network engineering, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
