Job summary

GRID Networks is seeking a Senior Mobile Core Network Engineer to join our mobile team. This role focuses on automating network operations with tools, scripts, and dashboards to improve reliability and reduce manual work.

You will work on signaling, voice, SMS, data services, and roaming, with hands-on responsibility for end-to-end production issues and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecom or network operations with mobile tech.
• Deep knowledge of mobile networks across 2G–5G and roaming.
• Proficient in Python or Go with automation experience.
• Experience automating operational workflows: monitoring and remediation.
• Familiarity with SS7/MAP and Diameter signaling, IMS and VAS.
• ITU-T/3GPP specs and GSMA recommendations familiarity.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations for the mobile network including monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Build tools and scripts to automate manual operational tasks.
• Design dashboards for network monitoring, performance, and QoS tracking.
• Integrate network elements, monitoring systems, and ticketing platforms via APIs.
• Support international roaming operations and testing.
• Identify and replace manual work with automated, self-healing solutions.
• Collaborate with network engineering, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
