Job summary

Lumeris is seeking a Principal Mobile Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and guide complex software systems across cloud and on-device platforms. You will mentor junior engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure scalable, secure app delivery.

Applicants should have a strong background in Java, mobile architectures, and experience shipping apps, with hands-on AWS/GCP exposure and a track record in production-grade mobile development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years experience in an Enterprise development environment
• Expert knowledge of software development lifecycles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a collaborative Agile team
• OO programming with Java, web MVC frameworks, Responsive design, RESTful services

Responsibilities

• Oversees and guides project teams to ensure complex deliverables are reviewed, tested, and delivered on time and within budget.
• Guides in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Partners cross-functionally and contributes to architectural strategies and infrastructure deployment.
• Plans and executes unit, integration and performance testing.
• Develops and evangelizes best practices, standards, and frameworks.
• Develops advanced skills of colleagues through mentoring and training.
• Represents the team as a subject matter expert.
