Job summary

Cadence is seeking a seasoned Millimeter-Wave (mmWave) IC designer to lead high-frequency transceiver projects for 5G/6G, aerospace radar, and automotive sensors. You will drive the full product lifecycle, tackle parasitics, thermal management, and high-frequency modeling, while engaging customers in a fast-paced environment.

Required: deep expertise in PAs, LNAs, mixers, VCOs, RF PLLs, and phase noise; RF transceiver architectures.

Qualifications

• Senior mmWave IC designer with 10+ years of industrial experience.
• Design experience in PAs, LNAs, mixers, VCOs and RF PLLs.
• Experience with RF SOI processes and high-frequency modeling.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and RF EDA tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of mmWave transceivers from concept to tape-out and lab validation.
• Address parasitic extraction, thermal management, and high-frequency modeling.
• Engage with customers and drive cross-functional project teams.
