Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician to join the Microbiology Laboratory in Lebanon, NH. The role involves performing diagnostic tests, quality checks, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the lab team to support accurate patient results.

Shifts are scheduled between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm over a two-week period, totaling 40 hours. A sign-on/retention incentive of up to $3,750 is available to external hires, with certain conditions.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in clinical laboratory science with required experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage changing volumes.

Responsabilités

• Performs a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests in microbiology.
• Performs quality control and instrument checks and troubleshoots issues.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Trains new staff and participates in continuing education.
• Follows all hospital safety requirements and performs other duties as needed.
