Coinbase, Inc. seeks an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for its Abu Dhabi subsidiary. This founding role will build the AML/CTF/PF/Sanctions program in a high-growth market and shape regulatory strategy with the FSRA of ADGM.

You will own the AML program, manage FSRA relationships, and advise business teams on local requirements, supported by Coinbase's global compliance infrastructure.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of AML/CTF/PF compliance experience, including senior leadership roles.
• First-hand knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi financial services and AML regulations.
• Track record of managing day-to-day compliance program operations, including audits and examinations.

Responsabilidades

• Own AML/CTF/PF and Sanctions requirements for the ADGM entity and maintain policies.
• Monitor FSRA and UAE regulatory developments and implement necessary changes.
• Provide updates to senior management and Board on AML/CTF/PF/Sanctions program and train staff.
• Lead regulatory communications with FSRA and oversee risk assessments of AML controls.
• Remediate findings from internal audits, regulatory exams, and self-identified issues.
• Partner with Compliance and Product to embed compliance in new products and expansion.
