Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior ML/AI engineer to design, train, and optimize models for LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion. You will productize models for the NVIDIA DRIVE AV platform, developing efficient C++ code and collaborating across LiDAR/camera teams and engineers to turn complex ideas into reliable autonomous driving solutions.

Leveraging PyTorch/TensorFlow, you will build and maintain data pipelines and training workflows for large-scale datasets, while staying current with ML

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant proven industry experience applying ML to real-world problems.
• Strong C++ and Python programming and debugging skills for large, complex systems.
• Deep practical experience applying ML to LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion in automotive or related fields.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and solid ML math foundations.
• Building and sustaining training and essential metric workflows for large-scale datasets.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and optimize ML models for LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion.
• Develop and coordinate ML workflows: data pipelines, model training, metrics, and performance instrumentation.
• Productize models and algorithms from evaluation to production on the NVIDIA DRIVE AV platform with efficient C++ code.
• Keep up with ML developments and integrate techniques to improve platform performance.
• Collaborate with LiDAR/camera teams and engineers to translate ideas into reliable autonomous driving solutions.
