Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is hiring a Machine Learning Scientist/Engineer to build AI/ML models at TB scale and work with product teams to improve customer experience. You will use GenAI, LLMs, transformers, and reinforcement learning to create production-ready systems and innovative modeling approaches.

We seek candidates with a Master’s in a quantitative field, strong programming in Java/C++/Python, and solid SQL/data warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, ML or equivalent.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS or Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop AI/ML models and supporting infrastructure at TB scale.
• Leverage GenAI, LLMs, deep learning and RL for production systems.
• Develop backtesting/offline policy estimation tools and integrate with reports.
• Create scalable processes for large-scale data analyses and model deployment.
• Analyze Amazon's historical data to automate key business processes.
