Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Machine Learning Research Engineer to bridge cutting-edge applied research and production engineering. You will design and ship advanced ML systems solving high-impact business problems, balancing scientific rigor with robust software engineering.

The role requires 6+ years of ML research/engineering, deep learning expertise, and experience moving models from research to production with strong observability and safeguards.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of combined research and applied ML engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/JAX).
• Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating DL models at scale.
• Experience taking ML models from research to production with observability and safeguards.
• Familiarity with distributed/mixed-precision training and accelerator hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and evaluate applied AI solutions across NLP, vision, recommender, and structured data.
• Translate business problems into well-scoped ML formulations with clear metrics.
• Stay current with DL research and assess applicability to internal use cases.
• Build production‑quality training and inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML platform engineers to optimize compute and storage.
