Job summary

You will architect data pipelines, develop foundational models, and shape the center's technical direction from scratch, collaborating with clinicians and researchers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field with 3+ years ML experience; or PhD in related field.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with large relational datasets and ML frameworks.
• Experience building end-to-end pipelines and evaluating model performance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ML development: design data pipelines, train models, and deploy systems.
• Define research questions and pursue publishable results with clinical partners.
• Establish engineering standards and core architectural decisions for CODA.
• Bridge ML with clinical practice, communicating trade-offs and data limits clearly.
• Support recruiting and contribute to education and collaboration culture.
