Job summary

Roblox is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for the ML Platform to design, scale, and maintain our core infrastructure powering the ML ecosystem. You will drive platform tooling and governance to accelerate model serving, training, and deployment across the organization.

You will partner with data scientists and ML engineers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure, leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience building scalable, reliable platforms.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes at scale (hundreds–thousands of nodes, high QPS).
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to manage AWS/GCP or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Bootstrap and maintain Kubernetes and Cloud infrastructure for ML Platform components (Serving Layer, Metadata Store, Model Registry, Pipeline Orchestrator).
• Set technical strategy and oversee development of high-scale, reliable infrastructure systems.
• Propose and implement new platform tooling to improve time to production for MLEs and Data Scientists across full ML lifecycle.
