Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Sr. Lead Software Engineer to drive ML platform initiatives and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology products. You will lead a fast-paced team, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product partners across agile sprints.

Responsibilities include building enterprise-grade ML platforms, developing microservices in Java/Python, and integrating with AWS services while ensuring performance and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on server-side development experience, including Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST, and JMS.
• Proficient in building microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Core, MVC, Web Services and Messaging.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, ALB/NLB).
• Strong SQL/RDBMS design, indexing, and query optimization knowledge.
• Agile SCRUM experience; ability to collaborate in an agile team.
• Certification: AWS Developer or Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade ML platforms for scalable deployment of models.
• Develop web applications with Java/Python in a microservices/SOA setup.
• Integrate with AWS cloud services for compute, storage, security components.
• Build tools for monitoring, provisioning, and automation of processes.
• Establish monitoring and alerting for performance, reliability, and availability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with Product teams to deliver capabilities via sprints.
• Leverage AI/ML techniques to prototype demos for leadership.
