Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer - ML to lead the design and delivery of scalable ML platforms that empower data scientists and ML engineers. You will build robust infrastructure, optimize deployment and monitoring, and drive secure, reliable ML workflows across teams.

You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to implement platform services, automate CI/CD, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining ML platforms or infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data processing tools like Spark, Pandas, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform, Azure ML) or on-prem ML infrastructure.
• Knowledge of MLOps, including CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Experience designing APIs and platform services for ML workflows.
• Familiar with agile software development and SDLC.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML platforms and infrastructure for end-to-end ML workflows.
• Develop and optimize tools for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate data engineering, feature management, and model serving into unified ML platform solutions.
• Implement secure, high-quality production code for platform services, APIs, and automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver platform features that accelerate ML development.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for platform components aligned with enterprise standards.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and CI/CD pipelines for ML services.
• Contribute to the ML platform engineering community and explore new tech.
