Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal software engineering training with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience building production data or ML pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Cloud experience (AWS) and cloud-native development patterns.
• Infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation (Terraform).
• Ability to work independently with moderate oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform components supporting ML lifecycle — from development to deployment and monitoring.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tooling and AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, while validating outputs through peer review and testing.
• Develop and maintain data and feature pipelines feeding production ML models.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (Databricks, EMR, ECS, S3) for training and serving workloads.
• Automate model deployment, testing, and release processes within the SDLC/MLOps toolchain.
• Support migration of legacy ML workloads to cloud-native, scalable platforms with zero downtime.
• Monitor platform health and model serving infra; resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
