Job summary

General Motors in California seeks a Principal Technical Lead in Trajectory Generation to advance autonomous driving technology. You will design, architect, and deploy end-to-end ML models that enable safe and reliable onboard navigation, guiding teams and mentoring engineers.

You will work with PyTorch, Python, and large foundation models, coordinating with cross-functional partners to translate research into production-ready solutions for real-world driving scenarios.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/Robotics/ML required.
• Experience with large-scale foundation models.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and Python.
• Experience deploying models to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technologies that align models to GM’s mission.
• Apply RL, guidance, and selection to improve model performance.
• Collaborate to align distillation recipes for onboard models.
