Judi Health in New York, Denver, or Charlotte is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager to lead design and implementation of AI systems leveraging LLMs, NLP, and multimodal models. You will guide a hands-on engineering team in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role emphasizes productionizing ML solutions, APIs, and the complete ML lifecycle, including data exploration, training, deployment, reviews, and documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, ML, or a related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience with ML solutions development and production deployment.
• 3+ years of engineering management with teams of 4+ engineers.
• Experience across the AI development lifecycle (AI DLC).
• Strong Python and PyTorch proficiency; cloud experience (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with GenAI services (OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemma).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead ML projects from planning to delivery, including performance reviews and growth of team members.
• Manage a team while productionizing ML solutions (Document understanding, Search, QnA, GenAI, Virtual Agents).
• Oversee API design for seamless model integration with services.
• Guide end-to-end ML lifecycle: problem definition, data exploration, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and QA processes.
• Troubleshoot AI model, integration, deployment, and backend issues.
• Document system designs and architectural decisions; ensure HIPAA compliance.
