Job summary

Judi Health is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growth-stage health tech team in a hybrid role across New York, Denver, and Charlotte. You will design and scale AI systems using NLP, GenAI, and multimodal models to improve pharmacy benefits and customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in ML, strong Python and PyTorch skills, and experience with cloud platforms and API-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, ML, or related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience focused on ML solutions development and deployment.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, algorithms and software quality.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch).
• Experience with NLP, RAG, GenAI, and ML model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and productionize ML solutions for NLP, QnA, GenAI, and VAs.
• Build backend services in Python for AI-driven apps.
• Design APIs for model integration and deployment.
• Architect multi-agent orchestration and scalable AI systems.
• Scale retrieval/search infra and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams as ML expert.
• Conduct end-to-end ML lifecycle from data exploration to deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and QA.
• Troubleshoot AI model, integration, and backend issues.
• Implement telemetry, A/B testing, and validation processes.
• Document designs and architectural decisions.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant security for healthcare data.
