Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a senior engineering leader for the Measurement Products team in the US. You will steer a team of ML, backend, and data engineers building ads measurement platforms and diagnostics, while ensuring rigorous methodologies and privacy standards.

You’ll partner across Product, Data Science, Ads Engineering, and Infra to productionize causal inference and experiments, shaping a scalable, trustworthy measurement ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software, ML, or large-scale data system experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams responsible for production systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Meaningful ads measurement experience (conversion lift, brand lift, MMM, MMM, clean-room).
• Strong understanding of experimentation and causal inference with noisy data.
• Proven ability to set technical vision and multi-year roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow ML, backend, and data engineers building ads measurement products.
• Set the technical vision and multi-year engineering strategy for Measurement Products.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Ads Engineering, and Infra to productionize causal inference and experiments.
• Drive scalable ML and data platforms for first- and third-party measurement.
• Influence roadmap to improve speed, scale, usability, and actionability of measurement offerings.
• Mentor engineers and promote inclusive technical culture.
• Champion AI-assisted development with rigorous validation and data protection.
