GDIT is seeking an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer to advance LLM/NLP capabilities and build scalable AI solutions in a defense-focused environment. The role is based on customer site in McLean, VA, requiring TS/SCI with Polygraph and US citizenship.

You will develop state-of-the-art AI models, validate performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, mission-critical analytics. Strong Python/R skills and GPU expertise are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in an IT discipline
• 8+ years of related experience
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras
• Experience with GPUs for accelerated computing
• Experience evaluating AI systems (LLM-based)
• Experiment design and execution to test LLM performance
• Experience tuning neural networks on custom data
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Strong SQL skills and complex queries
• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins
• US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Responsabilidades

• Develop and adapt Large Language Models (LLM) and NLP methods using AI/ML frameworks to improve analytic workflows and address intelligence questions
• Build AI/ML models and ensembles, select Python libraries, prepare data and evaluate model performance
• Design experiments to test LLM performance against benchmarks and datasets
• Communicate modeling decisions, methodologies, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
