Expedia Group in Seattle seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, deploy, and scale robust ML systems within the Distribution & Supply team. You will own end-to-end ML features, from problem framing and data sourcing to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Collaborate with product, data, and engineering to translate business problems into ML-driven solutions, improve model quality, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java with ML fundamentals.
• Experience with microservice architectures and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable ML systems and services, including system and data modeling.
• Own end-to-end delivery of ML features from framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering to translate problems into ML solutions.
• Improve model and system quality via experimentation, observability, and security practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote ML engineering best practices across teams.
