Qualifications

• Significant professional experience shipping ML models in production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience building end-to-end ML workflows (data pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring).
• Strong fundamentals in representation learning, computer vision, optimization, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade ML systems that move from early ideas to reliable customer-facing services.
• Lead end-to-end ML work spanning data, training, evaluation, deployment, observability, and iteration in production.
• Partner with applied scientists and software engineers across backend, web, and mobile to integrate ML techniques into Zillow experiences.
• Improve quality, latency, reliability, and maintainability of ML workflows for floor plan and rich media products.
• Drive technical decisions in ambiguous problem spaces, esp. CV, spatial signals, or performance tradeoffs.
• Establish shared patterns, tooling, and best practices across the team.
• Mentor peers through code review, debugging discipline, and cross-functional communication.
