Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the Rich Media Experiences team to design, build, and operate production-grade ML systems that turn photos, video, and spatial signals into reliable services powering millions of shoppers.

You will collaborate with applied scientists and software engineers across backend, web, and mobile to deploy scalable models, monitor performance, and improve latency and maintainability of ML workflows.

Qualifications

• Significant experience shipping ML models or ML-powered systems in production.
• Hands-on Python proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience building data pipelines, training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring.
• Strong foundation in representation learning, CV, optimization and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade ML systems turning ideas into services.
• Lead end-to-end ML work: data, training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with applied scientists and engineers across backend, web, and mobile.
• Improve quality, latency, reliability, and maintainability of ML workflows.
• Drive technical decisions in ambiguous spaces with structured inference and 3D/spatial signals.
• Mentor peers and establish best practices for ML engineering.
