Ladders is seeking a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to join a leader in Consumer Technology, focusing on deep learning, recommendation systems, and language-driven content understanding at scale.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of software/ML engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; Java experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with recommendation systems and NLP techniques.
• Experience with data analysis tools Hive, Spark, R, and MATLAB.
• Version control experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve deep learning and ML systems for content discovery and relevance at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ML models.
• Use data-driven methods to improve candidate retrieval and ranking.
• Run fast experiments and support high-impact product launches.
• Stay updated on industry trends in recommendation systems.
• Leverage LLMs and embeddings for content understanding.
• Experiment with surfaces including home feed, ads, and search.
