Job summary

Latitude AI is building an automated driving perception team in the United States. The State Estimation group focuses on tracking objects, estimating road features, and deploying production‑grade perception software for next‑gen Ford vehicles.

The role emphasizes research, prototyping, and real‑world testing with strong ML and CV foundations. You will collaborate across perception, robotics, and software, delivering scalable models capable of running onboard with real‑time constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree with 2+ years).
• Experience developing multi‑object tracking systems using machine learning models.
• Proven track record deploying deep learning solutions using PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Strong experience in computer vision, perception, and deep learning.
• At least 4 years of development in Python/C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop spatio‑temporal machine learning models for multi‑object tracking and uncertainty estimation.
• Develop ML models to estimate road features, lane markings, road shape and topology.
• Read literature, analyze data, and design state‑of‑the‑art solutions.
• Transfer solutions from lab to test track and public roads for production readiness.
• Collaborate with perception experts on algorithm design, prototyping, testing and deployment.
• Build and maintain industry‑leading software practices for perception modules.
