Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI/ML team. You will build production-ready ML systems spanning computer vision, multimodal data, and agentic workflows, partnering with product, engineering, and domain experts to turn ambiguous problems into reliable ML solutions.

You will own projects from framing to deployment and post-launch monitoring, ensuring scalable data pipelines, robust evaluation, and maintainable infrastructure while shipping tools that help

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or similar software engineering
• Experience shipping ML systems in production, including data prep, training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring
• Proficiency in Python and ML tooling, with solid software engineering fundamentals
• Experience in CV, multimodal modeling, information extraction, search/retrieval, or LLM-based systems

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end ML systems for product initiatives
• Own projects from framing to launch and post-launch monitoring
• Develop production-grade CV, multimodal, and agentic pipelines that ingest inputs and return structured outputs
• Build data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and feedback loops for scalable models
• Collaborate with annotation teams, product, and domain experts to define data requirements and success metrics
• Translate research results into practical technical recommendations balancing quality, latency and cost
• Contribute high-quality code, documentation, and design artifacts through reviews
