Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead data-centric pipelines and ML model development for real-world AI deployments at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma.

You will work closely with customers, data scientists, software engineers and DevOps to define requirements, orchestrate complex data pipelines, and advance the Chariot AI operations platform through production-grade solutions in secure environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science, machine learning, or related discipline with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering data-centric systems.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or scikit-learn.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals; at least one systems programming language.
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and orchestrate complex data engineering pipelines.
• Develop machine learning models and analytics across image, video, text, geospatial, time series and structured data.
• Collaborate with customers, data scientists, software engineers and DevOps.
• Contribute to the Chariot AI operations platform and mission-critical deployments.
• Engage in field deployments with direct customer contact and insights shaping future work.
