tem is building AI-driven pricing infrastructure for energy transactions with real-time impact on thousands of customers. You will lead the pricing ML strategy, design, and production deployment, working with software engineers and MLOps to turn models into reliable pricing decisions.

The role emphasizes ownership of the pricing engine, probabilistic modelling for risk and balancing, and clear communication of model decisions across product and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building ML systems for pricing, revenue optimisation, or decision-making under uncertainty with production deployment.
• Strong foundation in stochastic optimisation and probabilistic modelling.
• Proven ability to select appropriate modelling approaches from first principles.
• Engineering craft to deliver production-grade Python and collaborate with software engineers.
• Senior technical leadership in ML with cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the pricing ML technical direction and roadmap for the pricing engine.
• Build ML systems for price optimisation balancing signing probability, portfolio balance & margin.
• Solve imbalance problems with probabilistic models for risk management and balancing decisions.
• Bridge modelling and production: ensure models are production-ready with data layer alignment.
• Communicate pricing decisions and model behavior clearly to stakeholders.
