Job summary

Angi is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science and Machine Learning team, tackling homeowner-pro search ranking and predictive models to enhance product experience. You will deploy models at scale with low latency, collaborating with platform teams and translating research into production-ready solutions.

We value expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), SQL, Python, and end-to-end MLOps, with a track record of shipping reliable ML systems in a marketplace

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
• 4+ years of data science and ML experience.
• Hands-on experience post-training and self-hosting open-weight LLMs.
• Deep understanding of evaluation metrics across DL and ML.
• End-to-end MLOps lifecycle knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML/AI models to improve marketplace algorithms and user experience.
• Design and architect robust MLOps practices for deployment and scalability.
• Define evaluation frameworks for DL/ML and LLMs to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, infra, data scientists, and product managers to build scalable systems.
• Contribute to long-term technical vision and roadmap; mentor junior members.
