Job summary

Angi is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science and Machine Learning team. You will lead model development for homeowner-pro search ranking and use predictive models to enhance the marketplace experience.

You will deploy models at scale, design MLOps workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance ML solutions with low latency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data science and ML experience in tech or marketplaces.
• Hands-on post-training experience with self-hosted LLMs.
• Deep understanding of ML evaluation metrics and regression spotting.
• End-to-end MLOps: data versioning, feature stores, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining.
• Experience with large-scale distributed app architecture and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML models to improve search, ranking and matching in the marketplace.
• Design robust MLOps to deploy models at scale with low latency.
• Define evaluation frameworks for offline and online metrics including guardrails and AI safety.
• Collaborate with engineers, ML infra, data scientists and product managers.
• Contribute to long-term technical vision and roadmap for scalable ML systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing on advanced ML techniques.
