Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Principle Machine Learning Engineer to fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs and optimize models for performance on its ML Infrastructure. You will lead efforts in developing AI products that impact the travel industry. The role requires a PhD in a related field and 10+ years of experience. This position is US remote eligible, with a salary range from $248,000 to $310,000, plus potential bonus, equity, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing machine learning models.
• Post-training experience in data processing for fine-tuning.
• Experience in LLM alignment and reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities

• Explore and improve large foundation models for various uses.
• Create a multi-year tech roadmap in AI.
• Develop and productionize LLM models and pipelines.
