Job summary

Calance is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize ML/NLP workflows using classical ML, GenAI, and related technologies. You will build scalable pipelines and models for legal and business processes in a Global Services Office, with a hybrid in-office schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ML/AI, strong Python experience, and hands-on work with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and deployment tools. Collaborative, cross-functional teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a related field.
• Minimum five years' industry experience in ML/AI or data science.
• Minimum five years of Python industry experience.
• Minimum three years of experience working with agile teams.
• Experience building and productizing ML models and systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of AI/ML applications from concept to support.
• Develop and maintain robust ML pipelines for training, validation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps/infrastructure teams to manage GPU resources, model serving frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate new research, tools, and frameworks to advance capabilities.
• Develop GenAI/ML solutions professionally, adhering to schedules and firm procedures.
• Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information.
