Job summary

May Mobility is seeking ML-Oriented Software Engineers for its Autonomous Driving ML team in Ann Arbor, MI. You will design and operate pipelines to scale ML models for the autonomous shuttle stack, collaborating with robotics, software, and cloud teams.

Ideal candidates have a robotics or CS background with 2+ years building ML infrastructure, and proficiency in C++, Python, and PyTorch. Go or Rust and ML orchestration tools are a plus. Expect on-site work and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS or related field and strong math background.
• Minimum 2 years building ML-oriented infrastructure or distributed systems in production.
• Proficiency in C++, Python and PyTorch in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with ML concepts such as training loops and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own transition of Autonomous Driving ML models from concept to commercial scale.
• Architect and operate data, training and evaluation pipelines across cloud and clusters.
• Design and maintain data/metadata stores supporting training workflows.
