Job summary

CapTech seeks a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy scalable ML systems for enterprise clients. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate client needs into data-driven solutions, and mentor junior data scientists. Proficiency across Python/Scala, ML DevOps, and cloud platforms is required.

You’ll work onsite with clients and CapTech offices, contributing to business development, proposals, and capability growth while ensuring high-quality analytic outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering data engineering and machine learning solutions on cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience building data-driven solutions using Python or Scala.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Spark and NoSQL in production environments.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices.
• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL, Amazon RDS.
• Able to frame data-driven problems from cross-industry business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategize with clients and cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end ML solutions and identify new approaches.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure the solution aligns with customer needs.
• Deconstruct client needs into data-driven processes and analytical measures.
• Analyze and transform large datasets on enterprise platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions (recommender systems, NLP, risk scoring).
• Productionize ML systems with a focus on optimization and scalability.
